I believe the right painting does more than fill an empty wall. It changes the feeling of a space and gives you something new to notice each time you pass it.

Every DILEK ARTS painting is an original. Some pieces begin freely in the studio and are available to buy as completed works. Others start with a conversation about a room, a palette, a subject or an idea that matters to the person commissioning it.

The story

Made by one artist, from first mark to finished painting.

DILEK ARTS is a one-person studio led by Dilek Yavuz. That means the person you speak to is also the person making the work.

The practice centres on original physical paintings: individual pieces with their own colour, movement and character. No print run replaces the original, and once a painting is sold, that exact work is no longer available.

For commissions, the starting point is your space and your reason for wanting the piece. Dilek considers scale, palette, subject and mood, then develops a direction that feels personal without losing the hand and character of the artist.
